Burns v. Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. |Class Action for Frame Rot Rust Cancer

There is a federal lawsuit under way in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

It's captioned "Burns v. Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc..", Case No. 2:14-cv-02208,

It was filed on 10/03/2014. It is a live and active controversy.

The plaintiff is seeking class action status, but has not yet been approved by the court as of August, 2015.

The plaintiff had his 2005 frame cave in where the motor mount is, dropping the engined about 2" and can't be repaired due to the cancer. This occurred in Feb. 2014.

I will monitor this case for updates as time progresses. This post will have the latest updates.

I am familiar with how the federal courts work, and I have access to their electronic filing system. There are filings from Toyota Motor Corp. which I need time to go through and see if there are interesting things to know. I need a week or so to digest what is going on with the case.
