LED pods wired to running lights ? Question

    3" lift, 18" XD spys, 33" nitto terra graps, 1.25 wheel spacers, bull bar + light bar.
    ive been thinking about getting some LED pods to use as fogs lights adn i was wondering if theres any way i can wire them to my running lights. dont know if it would be enough power or safe. any help or sugestions would be appreciated. just dont want to run anymore switches to my dash.

    This is a great application for using a relay. Use the running light as a signal to a relay that will in turn do the heavy lifting portion for the electrical for the lighting or what ever accessory you want. I grabed this link as a start point for you.

    Using LED pods as fogs is illegal, and blinds other drivers...only do this if you're going to turn them off when there is oncoming traffic.

    yeah i only use my light bar when theres no traffic would use these the same, but a friend of mine has rigid industry pods for fogs and no one had said anything to him
