Inner tube trick will work for a while but will need to be fixed every so often.
Grease between the leafs will work for a while but after a good rain storm or car wash it will wear off.

I daily drove and wheeled with 3 different AAL's for 2 years, the final fix was to turn the radio up before I swapped the pack out

I drove a '30 Model A roadster and a '65 Mustang conv. for many years that I ran with newer spring packs. What the old Ford guys did was to put a very thin layer of wide Teflon tape between each leaf. No squeaks, no change with weather. Ran the Model A for 27 years and it still didn't squeak. Has anyone tried this on AAL's on Tacomas?
