Bushing Maintenance - What wears out? Poly?

This winter I'm looking to do some work to my truck. It's about to hit 130k and I figure many of the bushings are on their way out.

Have any of you guys gone with the energy suspension poly bushings? Which bushings did you find to be the most worn out / in need of replacement? How much firmer is the truck with the polys compared to OEM rubber?

 

The steering rack bushings are typically the first to go. I used this kit:

I went with polys for the rack as well. You might look into the control arms bushings as well. I have camburg uppers but for the lower I went with moog replacements. There's poly for those too but are a total bitch to replace. I think there's some that are available, whiteline or something. Idk I read up on that somewhere but forgot what they were called or what's involved. Might search for that. But I don't think anything but oem type replacements are really that necessary for control arms. Maybe if you do a lot of off roading. But bottle Jack method for lowers is the best way to pop them out. Not sure about uppers.
