Decided at random to pick up a 2016 Tacoma yesterday. Went to the dealership to trade in my wife's BMW on a 4Runner and ended up trading my 8 month old Jeep on a Tacoma. These things happen...

I'm not big on quicksand but that looks good. Wish I could go to a dealer and find one. I still have over a month to wait.

Truck came from the dealer with BFG K02's, the predator step bar and a 3 inch lift/leveling kit.

    Bone Stock.Why mess with perfection?Except...
They do indeed happen, Gallowbraid. It's the insidious nature of the Tacoma brand. One day, you buy a nice new truck. The next day, you decide to replace the floor mats. Before you know it, you've tinted all the glass some percentage. Then, you decide you need sliders for those parking lot dings, and for those just in case scenarios. Sooner or later, you decide you "need" both front and back steel/aluminum/unobtainium bumpers. After a while, you're asking "close acquaintances" if you can put 285/33s on your truck without having to do any cutting. Before you know it, you are just jonesing for a 6 inch lift, and wondering about brake lines and uca. Gallowbraid, I've only flipped back a portion of the covering of your future. Welcome! WELCOME TO TACOMA WORLD!! May gawd have mercy on your wallet.
