Thought Id join the party, 2012 single cab 4x4 2.7 5 speed. I have a Vista top, viar air system, bilstein shocks,17 inch toyota alloy wheels-takeoffs, Toyo 265/70-17 tires, nice reciever hitch. This has been a real good truck with only a few issues till now, I noticed the clutch is starting to slip in 3rd or 4th gear with some throttle. I spoke with the local dealer service guy who has been pretty good to me and first he says yes we have seen clutches fail in 30-40k miles, not a warrantable item and gave me a $1500. estimate for a truck with 32k miles. The old 94 went 212k on the original clutch and I bet the kid I sold it to is still running it-sorry for the rant. Now I hear there is a converter/exh recall/fix upcoming-keep ya posted.
