New member from Seattle area

Hello everyone,

New to this forum, but not vehicle forums in general. Happy to be here and I'm sure this one will be a great resource! I've wanted a Toyota pickup for thirty years--dreamed of a red truck for hauling, with standard cab and manual transmission. Was sad to learn when we started shopping this summer that two out of these three characteristics are no longer available on new Tacomas. Luckily we came across this stock low-mileage 2011 white pickup last summer, with base engine, standard cab and manual transmission. Here it is after we took delivery. It may be as plain as they come, but we love it and expect it to last forever.

Our first modification will be to install an interval wiper switch--a must for Puget Sound weather. We're interested in how others have hauled motorcycles too--we have a couple Moto Guzzis and a Ducati.
