    ....Winters coming....
Looking to buy some new sneakers for my Taco.
    265/70/16
    I've only ever run Goodyear.
They don't make that particular tire anymore & the alternative doesn't really appeal to me.
I've got my options narrowed down to:
    •BFG All Terrain TAKO2
    •General Grabber AT2
    •TOYO OC/AT2
Any input on anyone's opinions are welcome.
I'm leaning towards the BFG's myself.
    Cheers

the general grabbers kinda suck, wear quickly(as do most mud tires), and aren't much good in snow. don't know about the toyo. I currently run the KO2's and had the KO before and they did great in snow and good all around.

    Cool, thanks.
I'd much rather get opinions here from real people. The dealers I've been to seem pretty biased toward one or the other. Couldn't really make a clear decision.

I run General Grabber AT2 and love them but the BFGs were my next choice

I go skiing in Colorado several times a year to ski powder, plus the wet crappy snows we get here. The KO2's will do great. However in the spring with the thick mud around here, the mud tires do better because they have bigger gaps in the tread that allow the mud to clear out, but I don't get in the mud a lot. If I did, I would get dedicated mud tires because that's about all they are good for

They still make the GY (Wrangler),
But it's a different tread pattern & seem less aggressive than what I've got. They were the ones that were in it when got the truck & they were new then. This is the 3rd season with them. They were more than adequate for where I go.

Probably the Wrangler SAT (Silent Armour Technology), it was replaced by the Wrangler All Terrain Adventure. There is also the Wrangler ArmourTrac.

I'm currently running the BFG KO's. I love them, but many on here recommend the KO2's. If I had to choose between the three, it would either be the Toyos or BFGs. Does road noise really bother you?

There is a significant difference between the KO and KO2. I've run both. I will never buy KOs again, they just do not self clean. The KO2s do a much better job for an AT tire. The KO2s exceed the requirements for a dedicated winter tire, so they should do excellent in the snow, but I have not tried them in snow yet.

Here is a video on the differences between the KO vs KO2:
