How do you dry your truck?

i was using the absorber, but bought a microfiber waffle weave towel and havent touched my absorber since

I got a Shamwow from a friend (free fortunately) and it sucks! It just pushed the water around, didn't absorb any water!???

I use a shammy followed right behind with a micro-fiber towel. Works perfect, not a drop of water left on there.

 

I use a Shammy from Wal Mart. I like the leaf blower idea, but I will probably just stick with the shammy for simplicity. My yard is basically a swamp so I would not be able to use the leaf blower for anything else.

i have one of the super absorbent ones that come in a plastic tube for getting the initial water off then a chamois to finish drying it with a microfibre cloth to do minor polishing

 

Everything mentioned above is flat out crap especially the water blade. If your vehicle ain't 100% clean of debris you will mar and etch your paint. The water blade is only good for windows and chrome. These are hands down the 2 best products you can use to care for your vehicle after washing. And more details on how to properly wash and dry, which most people fail to do which leads to horrible etching, scratching, spider swirls, etc. Trust me I detail!

 

I use a similar product, its not that exact thing but a very large microfiber cloth basically. Been using it for years.

The metro blaster is for usually funky grills and cracks. I use it 50% of the time. If I just got done mowing the yard then I will use the leaf blower that is out.

 

I have a craftsman wet vac that I can use.

I use cotton towels...

 

I use a large waffle weave microfiber towel. Works best out of anything I have ever used. Can do the entire truck with one. Used to use the Cali waterblade on my previous vehicle. Worked well too.

 

I have a 25"x36" waffle weave that works very well. Of all the things I've tried, (and I've tried LOTS) I like these the best.

Of course I still cheat a little and start with the electric leaf blower to get the bulk of the water off the truck. Then the waffle weave does the rest...I don't even have to wring it out.
