There's some 39.5 TSL's on Nc4x4 right now, not sure of the wheel size though.

The grooved ones? Figured they would've been at least a 16.

I think if you tame down on the throttle some you could live with 42s. How ever birfs will be broken at some point and I would truss the housing/knuckle balls and do the 5th stud or six shooters.

Yup, that's a good looking set too.

Knuckleballs are already gusseted, you think I'd pop the 30 spline rcv chromo/300m birfs? My buddy that I went to TN with is running 42's but he's running the 80 front and a 23 spline v6 case.

The cases would probably go first, usually is the ring and pinion but I doubt your going to tear up the 9.5" diffs. 42s would be nice but I fear it would open up a whole can of worms with broken shit inside. Which is fine as long as your prepared for it. Look up Mr. Stubbs build on pirate, pretty sure he's running 42s and toy stuff. At last at one point and time he was.

As far as breaking an rcv shaft it is unlikely but has happened before. Or at least the OG Longfields which are basically the new rcv's.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing. I'm honestly surprised my cases haven't gone yet.. (knock on wood). That's why I mentioned the 37's over the 42's. It's pretty damn reliable right now and I'd like to keep it that way. I want to do a 23 spline rear case anyways but then where would the weak link go on 42's? Front case?

It'll still be the input of the back case, that or the output. Sinking money in shiny parts for toy cases is a slippery slope. Before too long you've invested as much as an Atlas costs.

Also knocked out a lot of work on the beadlocks today. A lot more work than I was expecting lol

Used pennies to shim them up and center them

Still have to run a bead on all these anti-coning tabs

Little teaser of the color :luvya:

Those anti-coning trans look like a bitch to bend.

Wasn't bad at all actually. Used like an 8" crescent wrench

What are the anti coning tabs for? Keeping the bead flange flat?

How much are the rings if you don't mind me asking.

It keeps the outer ring from bowing in when you tighten it down.

I wheel with 3 guys that have 37" rockers and they don't have a bad thing to say about them. So if you have a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket I would get those. I'm a cheap fucker and if I had a trailer I would be rocking some bias tsls or ltbs.

With 42s I would be worrying about f/r hub studs, they would probibly go before the tcase outputs.

The rockers are an awesome tire for sure. My buddy running the 42 has never had a hub stud issue front or rear. His fj80 rear is actually 100% stock. That being said I have arp's up front and have another set of arp's for the rear laying in the garage

Got two wheels and tires assembled and ready to air up, the other two tomorrow. What a pain torquing all these bolts lol. Going to give the iroks another shot at 3-4 psi and go from there
