Truck is in Mint and nearly new condition with 45,000 miles. It is pristine... Just curious if there is anything I should know about that model year. I live in Hawaii (Kona) and the sellers tend to ask for extravagant prices.

Also how do you factor TRD package in Kelly Blue book, it seems there is no list for the upgrade in the pricing. Any thoughts on what a fair price would be for this? I know all I can see on KBB is 20,000 ish which seems way low.

Also is there anyone that has a car fax account that could check to see if the vin number checks out? Thanks

Do you have a link/pictures of the vehicle that you are willing to share? It's hard to justify the cost without taking a look at it inside and out.

I bought a 2011 Double cab Off Road 4x4 with 30000 miles for 26k in June. I love it! Getting the mod bug with this forum.

A 2011 double cab 4x4 in either TRD package here would go for around $26k (assuming dealer) with that mileage

I did not get pictures of it when the seller came to meet me and show it. It is truly in "New" condition. The woman that owns it is an accountant and took immaculate care of the vehicle. Sorry that I did not get a pic it would have been better to show its condition.

I notice there is a second comment of a 26k value. Seller is asking 27k for it and I was thinking that 26 was as much as I would have wanted to pay.

How do you think the new body style will effect the pricing of the previous design?

nope considering 1st gens are still going for exuberant amounts.

24-27k sounds about right for that truck.... assuming rust free.

When I had the 2011 offroad, the only issue I had was the squeaky clutch pedal. Other than that it was a great truck. The offroad ability is great with the locker and ATRAC.

This. If anything the 2nd gens may increase in value now that they're not readily available new.

I'm now on Taco #4.....It's a 2011 DCSB, OR, Auto. LOVE IT! The best vehicle I've ever owned was a 1984 SR5 Toyota 4wd. (regular cab, long bed, raised 5", 35's, Warn winch, etc) I rate this 2011 ALMOST as highly as I did that '84. The 2011 is probably a better truck, but the '84 was light years ahead of it's competition back in the day.

I get 20+ mpg, even with 265/75/r16 Duratracs.....Good solid truck. I haven't had it long, and it just recently got it's first REAL taste of off roading. I was quite impressed. You'll find Tacomas hold their resale better than just about anything on the road. Take care of it and it will be the closest thing possible to being a good investment that a car or truck is capable of being.
