    Hi guys,

I have a 96 Taco that has been dumping power steering fluid recently. I took the entire pump off and cleaned out the inside and screen and re filled the system because I realized it was whining and a little low last week.

I was still getting small spots over and over after doing that. I quickly realized I had put actual power steering fluid in my system and not ATF. It sat in there for maybe 4 days before I bleed the entire system today and replaced with Lucas ATF leak fix and ATF til it was full.

Front end off the ground, cap on turning the wheel all the way each side then topping the reservoir off as needed.

Note video: It seems to be leaking out of nothing but the steering boots? I am unsure the specific name.

I do not know if there is are seals in there that go bad or what. New to Toyotas, always been in Subarus.
