Automatic Headlights or a lack of

So I spent the weekend driving my new TRD Sport trying to find the automatic headlights. I finally read the manual to find out that I have the type B headlight control stick. Does the limited have the type A with automatic headlights? Would that be a plug and play option? I've see this done with intermittent wipers. How would I find the part number for that control stick? Thanks for any help in advance?

 

The Limited does have auto on/off headlights. Sorry, I cannot answer the other questions.

My TRD Sport with the premium tech package has automatic headlights. The light sensor is on the front right dash adjacent to the windshield.

They only come with the premium package ... and headlights do NOT turn off when ignition is turned off on my TRD OR model. I would like them as well, but didn't want the sunroof or the other options.

You have go change the automatic headlight settings to off.. It stays on by default for 30 or 60 seconds after you turn off the truck.. Or perhaps after you lock the vehicle.

 

I just got home and tried this. You are correct about the headlights being left on. I shut off the truck, and I left the headlights on. I got out of the truck ... closed the door .... lights DID go off after 1 minute. So they WILL automatically go off on their own .... Thanks for the info.
