I am French and I was offered to buy a Tacoma 4x4 SR5 2002 200000 automatic gearbox 200000miles 4cyl with a camper for six pac 7000 us.
I have no idea of the value of these vehicles and no idea either of his ability to do many kilometers for the return of Argentina to alaska.
What are the things to check before buying ?

I'm sure some more seasoned members of the board can give you their point of view also, but where I live in central Florida a four cylinder 4 x 4 extended cab with 200k alone sells for about $7000 ... that's not including the camper.

Still, you'd definitely wanna get it checked out first.

By the way, I don't know if you live in or have family near Paris but please know that we're all praying for an end to this terrorism and ungodly world.
