I have been doing them for $1500 fully loaded including shipping. That includes the full steel structure you see in the photos powdercoated, then you get 4 hd black anodized bars for the top shelf, 4 for the bottom shelf and 2 for the side mounts. The sides and top are interchangeable.

I have been looking at doing weld together kits on these because I can only do 1-2 every so often before I run out of time.

Hands down the best rack I've seen. I really love my flip bed cover but if I decide to go bed rack, this is good to be it. As off right now I need my bed to haul my track bike. I'll keep this as a must have if I choose to go bed rack. Thanks Zach.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I forgot you added the heavy bumpers, my mistake. I was thinking about the aluminum skids when light weight crossed my mind. That makes your mpg much more impressive.

Those bed racks look amazing. I saw them on your website a while ago and have been keeping my eye open for them to pop up for sale. Unfortunately I got a different one in the mean time... I just might need to do a swap one day. Keep up the good work! Any idea on weight for the bed rack? All aluminum?

Didn't know you had a swing out. Why did you get rid of it? Space? Bed access?

I had one for about 2 months. Bed access was a hassle, and my rear suspension didn't like it. Going over concrete score lines on the freeway was awful because the swingout bounced the rear suspension because of the weight that far back.

Well about two weeks after I get fresh powdercoating on my CBI bumper my truck decided to pick up fight with the rear end of a another truck. My truck keeps telling me it was it's drivers fault. Probably right.

Good news is that the bumper protected my truck like you wouldn't imagine. Even the scuffs in the finish didn't pass through the primer. My powdercoater does an excellent job. bad news is the rear end of the other truck was no match for the CBI bumper. Even at as low of speed as I was going it totaled his truck. Crappy start to the weekend cause of my stupidity but life goes on, nobody was hurt, and insurance is there for a reason. I will get some pictures up later for those interested. Should be interesting to those considering a plate bumper.

Dang man glad your alright. My bumper has saved me and my family is a serious accident so I'm a firm believer in them.

I've been torn between steel vs aluminum front bumper for a bit, then decided to change my mind to steel just before I order... Lol truth be told I don't count my mpgs so what am I worried about.

This build thread has been neglected for far too long. Here are some recent updates.

    1) Pictures from when I put on my idiot hat and rear ended somebody. As you can see the CBI bumper won that skirmish.

    IMG_2557.jpg IMG_2560.jpg

    2) Swapped out my old mounts on the Heretic Bar for the new custom prinsu mounts. They work great and are very clean.

    IMG_2515.jpg IMG_2520.jpg IMG_2521.jpg

    3) Added some 10" Heretic Wraiths tucked in under the toprac on my shell. Finally got them wired about a week ago and they are bright. They came in handy when I was installing a T4R4 rack in the dark last week. I hate the short days of winter. I will get some pictures of them lit up soon. IMG_2503.jpg

In other news. I am getting ready to add some advertising to the truck. Looking at some vinyl decals. These are my two preferences I have right now. What do you guys think, option A or option B? Or neither?:D Future decals included with racks will likely be similar to this but just a standard white decal.

    OPTION A

    OPTION B

I also have a list of maintenance items I will be working on in the next few weeks (Coming up on 60K )with a list of probable mods within the next months.

    Maintenance -

    1) Change oil
    2) Clean and Oil Air Filter
    3) Change Cabin Filter
    4) Rotate Tires
    5) Replace CV Axles (Driver side has been throwing grease for awhile and is probably in pretty bad shape. I have some CVJ OEM remans on order with the high angle OEM boot upgrade) I will for sure replace the driver side. I may replace the passenger and keep it as a spare and send the driver in to get a core charge refund.
    6) Change front, rear, and trans fluid. This isn't due for another 5k but my CV axle on the driver side is pretty bad and I don't want to wait. Since I will be draining the front to replace that, figured I might as well get the rest done while I am at it.

    Mods -

    1) Goose Gear Storage Module (Did a trade with Brian at goosegear for a T4R 4G rack. I should have my module sometime in December)
    2) SCS Wheels (Either F5 or SR8) I am up in the air on this. I really would like some nice looking wheels but tall skinny tires don't protect the wheels very well. I hate to buy nice wheels and then scratch them up the first time out on the trail. Thoughts?
    3) Weld Alignment tabs or replace with TC version.
    4) Redo Front Suspension ????

Just ran them along the inside of the rack and down the front windshield in the passenger side channel. Same way I did the 30" just on the opposite side.

Option b for sure. Option a at first glance was hard to read, all I got was PR SU. Definitely want to keep brand readability at the top of your list imo. Looks great though!

Size could be bigger too and moved forward more maybe on option b. The orange text could use a black shadow (like black lettering behind the orange one size bigger) too to improve readability.

    Enough input from me :p

Yeah the glare from that photo doesn't help orange in option B.

How much rake do you have with your suspension setup?

I have never measured to know exact numbers but when all my camping gear is loaded and the tent is on the truck sits pretty level. When I am unloaded I probably have 2" or more of rake.
