Hey TW, I've got a pretty bad engine whine that gets louder with RPM's, and does it with the transmission in neutral. After reading through some threads I think it's one of the pulleys. Is there a good way to diagnose which pulley it is? I don't mind replacing all the idler pulleys (about 175 bucks for package deal) but I'd hate to replace them only to find out its the A/C pulley or something else.

Any tips on how to figure out which pulley it is making the whining noise would be great. Thanks.

Try spraying WD40 on each pully till you find it or pull off all the belts then spin by hand each one

Thanks. Tomorrow I find this noise. Sounds like I got a shitty supercharger right now haha.

spray silicone to see if its the belt making the noise, all the bearings are sealed so you wont be able to get any in them. use a stethoscope and stick it on the bolt holding the bearing, or as close to them as you can get

I would pull off the outer-most belt, and briefly start the motor.
If you still hear the noise, remove the next belt, then you'll know.
