^^^ as he should. If nothing else, he seems to be a man of integrity.
I can expect a full review after you get the new set and put them through their paces, right?:D

Contacted Marlin after blackout14's post about his numbers and according to Marlin, the new arms are in production and when they are ready, he will be shipping them out. I don't know how many folks are on the list or how many Marlin is producing, but the short answer is yes, he will be replacing them. Timeframe? Didn't get one but I'm guessing it won't be quicker than a week and hoping it won't be longer than a few weeks.

And to answer another question, you can bet I'll write a detailed review after I get the new arms installed.

I like what I'm seeing with the new design. I suspect I'll be putting in an order when I return from vacation, as long as I can keep a little extra chedda' in my account while I'm gone.

More importantly though... Any chance on a run of a different, more subtle color for the TW folks?

Eh. We plat plasti-dip everything else, it certainly won't hurt the UCA.

Any plans to wheel it soon? I want to see someone put them through their paces. *Cough, Cough... it would be great if someone could post some pics of full compression and full droop so we can see the clearance. Cough. Cough...:anonymous:*

I occasionally receive PM's related to my experience with the JBA UCA. So to close the loop for me in this thread (not subbed anymore).

    To sum up my experience:

    • The first set I had bent against the coil bucket (improperly designed, IMO)
    • The second set were the HD variety. I could not get proper alignment with my HD UCA's. After three alignments (at three different shops) I threw in the towel and got a full refund from Marlin and sent the UCA's back to him.
This ordeal was very painful for me. My wife was upset with me. I wasted a lot of time at alignment shops, and in my driveway wrenching when I could have been spending with my family, etc.

There is a certain risk every modder takes when using newly designed aftermarket parts, and I knew that going into it, but it cost way more than I intended.

At the present time, I'm rocking the stock UCA's with 5100 shock and OME 885 coils. It took a while to get used to driving the truck with very low caster, but now after many months, it's normal to me and I'm happy with my setup.

Best of luck to all with the JBA UCA's. And I hope Marlin gets things dialed in.
