I know a lot of SAMCRO guys will be checking this show out, don't want to fill the other thread with discussion on this one.

Sitting down to watch it right now.

Have it on my DVR. Watched the first few minutes and thought it had high production value. Will most likely watch the rest tonight.

More blood in the first hour than the whole season of FTWD.

Camera angles are interesting, almost distracting at times.

Was it Katie Sagal's faceless man that killed the pregnant chick?

FUCKYEAH!!!! Now maybe he'll get to work on the First 9 prequel!!!!!

Kurt Sutter Cancels 'The Bastard Executioner' Via Hollywood Reporter Ad

The "heartbreaking" decision, made in concert with FX Networks CEO John Landgraf, comes as the ambitious 14th century period drama lost more than half of its audience through its first six weeks on the air, falling from 4 million combined weekly viewers for its Sept. 15 premiere to just 1.9 million for episode six. The series wrapped its first, and now final, season Nov. 17.

"It's fantastic to get a good review [or] an award, but at the end of the day the only thing that matters, really, is numbers," he says, adding: "I'm not the guy sitting in my ivory tower spitting shit out and not caring if anyone is watching. ... I don't want to write something that nobody's f—ing watching." Sutter, who spent seven seasons on FX's The Shield prior to Sons, suggests he hasn't done too much second-guessing, though he acknowledges he has wondered whether his latest series' mythology was too dense and the glut of period pieces a turnoff. Other potential hurdles: a largely unknown cast, led by Aussie theater actor Lee Jones, and lengthy runtimes.

Sutter, who is under an overall deal at Fox 21 parent 20th Century Fox TV, won’t be out of a job long. He’ll soon start the process of hiring a Latino showrunner who’ll spearhead the Sons spinoff that focuses on the Mayan biker club. And he’s discussing with Cross Creek principal Brian Oliver plans for him to finally direct his feature script Delivering Gen. The timing seems good on the latter; the Sutter-scripted boxing drama Southpaw with director Antoine Fuqua and Jake Gyllenhaal was a summer hit, and Cross Creek just signed a big co-financing and producing deal at Sony Pictures that positions the maker of Black Mass, Everest and Black Swan to become a major supplier for that studio
