    I have a 2000 toyota tacoma sr5 with a 2.7 What are some good ways to improve my horse power

    There really is nothing you can do to either the 3.4 or the 2.7 to improve power. Super charge or turbo are rally about your only options. Even a full exhaust sustem header back wont even give any real noticeable gains. These motors are pretty well engineered from the factory these days, so aside from major mods nothing will really help... There are a few little gimmicky products on the market but they are just that a gimmik. Like a throttle body spacer or those funky little fans that go inside your intake tube, etc, etc, all a complete waste of $!

    Magnuson Kompressor, OME lift kit, JBA Headers, junky Sony radio.
    Yep. Forced induction is the only true way to increase HP/TQ.

    2.7 w/auto, 4WU 3 link, F & R Diamonds, ARB's F/R w/ Yukon 5.29's, Inchworm 4.7 Lefty, Deavers, ARB OBA, Schrockworks up front.
    Check out LC Engineering.
    I installed their over sized throttle body, Doug Thorley header and then had a Magnaflow muffler installed at a local shop.
    Also, look inside the stock air box, if you still have it. I cut off the smaller tube inside that connected to the outside intake neck/ shoulder.
    All in all, it made a difference, not a lot but take what you can get with these motors.
