Hello All, I'm getting new tires\wheels for my 16 TRD Sport and would like some opinions..
First off, what is the biggest size that will fit with no lift, and no rubbing.
    Lil about me:
I live in WNY.. lots of snow in the winter.. Lots of HWY miles ( 50 a day ), mileage matters a bit.

Rims will be TRD Pro black (17s)
I have it down to three tires.
1 - Toyo Open Country A/T II - I have read very good reviews.

    2 - Cooper Discoverer A/T3

3 - Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx - Look so good..

Let me know your experiences or thoughts.. Please keep it to these tires.

    Thanks.

I know you dont have Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs on your list buy may want to consider them...Love them for rain and snow. I travel about 70 miles round trip to work everyday on highway. Had them for about 3 years on my 2014 tacoma.

For a size, 265/70/17 is the biggest you can fit at stock height with no rubbing.

Yep. The two trucks aren't that different. I've seen a bunch of people in the 3rd gen forum swapping from 265/65/17 to 265/70/17.

My only experience with the three you listed is, Cooper ST Maxx. From my experience the set I had wouldn't balance, they look awesome but rode horrible.. 265/70/17 is as about as big as you can go, but you will have some rubbing, nothing that will damaged anything, but you'll probably wanna take your front flaps off. Still rub a little on the lower inner fender. I know this because I've run/ran four different 265/70/17 sets.

The other advice I'd throw in, if you do mainly on road driving go with a P Rated tire, unless you don't mind a firmer ride with a heavier Load tire. If you do go heavier Load, don't go any heavier than Load C.
Two other sets I'd recommend is, General Grabber AT2 P Rated, Or the new BFG KO2s Load C.

3" lift, goodyear wrangler duratracs 285/70r17, k&n filter, bakflip vp tonneau and tint.
I live in North jersey. I went with the wrangler duratracs. I think it gave me the best of both worlds. Good on the street and in snow and ice. Also with better then average AT tire results in mud. Also has a great look to it.

I have spent just over 20k miles with the Toyo ATII tires. I have them in LT265/76/16 load C. Here is my experience. The tires are wearing slowly and evenly. The picture above was taken with 20K. I fully expect to get 50K out of this set. I have never had a flat either on or off road. The tires ride very well on the road. I would imagine the P rated version would ride even better. The tires were nearly silent when they were new, but they have now developed a very noticable hum at hwy speed. It doesn't bother me, and from my experience this is going to happen with any tire with an agressive tread. They have a good amout of siping so they handle wet road conditions very nicely. I have only had them since spring so I cant speak to how they handle snow/ice yet. Offroad they do what an AT tire does. They are miles ahead of road tires and sucking hind tit to MT's. They perform great in my hunting, exploring, and offroading adventures. My last tire was a Cooper Discoverer ATR which has a less agressive tread. As you would expect, they were nicer on the road but less capable in the dirt. I would say it is a great tire that performs as it is supposed to. Hope this helps.

I've had these for a couple months now. Very happy with them.

They would be a direct competitor to the Cooper Discoverer A/T3

I don't run them in the winter, but mine have the mountain/snowflake symbol on them.
