A random act of kindness

A few days ago, as I pulled in a gas station, I saw this very dirty, sad looking old homeless man standing by the curb. He walked over to me and asked if I could give him a couple bucks so he could eat. I was curious, so I asked him if he would spend that money on beer if I gave it to him. He said no, that he'd given up drinking several years ago. So I asked him if he would spend the money on a 4 wheel drive truck....He replied that it had been years since he had a 4 wheel drive. So then I told him to get in my truck, that I was taking him home so my wife could fix him a good meal. He asked me if I thought my wife would be upset if I brought him home unannounced. I replied to him that she might be, but it would be worth it....She really needed to see what could happen to a man when you take away his beer and truck...
