The tacomas sit at a nice height at stock level. I don't mind the chrome grille, but might blacken it up a bit later down the road.

 

Yes, looks way better. Now I need to cover the holes or replace the screws with something black.

 

same plan, just not sure what yet. was thinking just the outer chrome bezel as a start.

As promised yesterday, here's the truck with the a.r.e. cap installed.
I'd say it's the v-series. It's a rebranded a.r.e. cap, so the model names are different. It's their "best value" model.
So if you're wondering how it looks with an a.r.e. "best value" cap, this might help you see if it would suit you.
I would have preferred a tonneau cover, I think it looks better without a cap, but I focused on my needs.
Fortunately, the look is alright, I sure can live with it

Looks good to me! I plan on ordering a tonneau mainly for winter to keep snow out of the bed. Want to get a Softopper for summer for camping.

 

damn, that is one fine looking truck.

 

I think I would prefer a cab. Especially when you need to haul things like dogs. I have a topper so I can sleep in the back of my truck (I am only 5'10 so it works just fine). I think your topper looks great on this truck.

 

Anyone with the black Off Road thought of color matching the fender flares to look like the Sport or SR5? The color keyed fenders look way better imo and I am thinking of having mine painted.

 

What type of bug shield is that?

The orange stitching is a nice accent to the seats, did you order the orange bezel on the dash.?
