I priced those out and the black 16" TRD FJ's when I was down in Cali on business and both were $675 right from the dealer for a set of 4 (so I'm assuming Washington's prices would be similar?). Not bad IMO and you know they're not replica junk.

Make an excuse to head down and pick them up... sight seeing, take the misses on a road trip for some cross the border shopping, or just cuz... any excuse works really.

    Whole lotta stuff
$675 USD? My dealer wanted almost 4 digits, and a 4runner VIN.

Correct $675 USD in Yuba City, CA... so OP would pay a little more than 675 with the current exchange rate, but still save something. If nothing else OP would get a trip through the mountains.

Now all this is assuming WA sells them for the same prices that dealer in CA does. :notsure:

Hi my name is Kyle and would be glad to help you out! I've been very lucky to find a way to source these wheels for our Canadian customers.

I landed 16 yesterday in Canada, 12 sold and 4 left available for sale as of this morning. I have found another 12 more that I will land in about one month from the states.

I also stock a sweet wheel by FN Wheels called the FX Pro that is a very similar replica of the wheel. I like this wheel a bit better as its 8" wide vs 7" from Toyota. Allowing us offroaders to properly fit a 285 tire on the rim!

Please email me at kgeorge@cochranetoyota.com or call direct 403-851-2930 if I can help you out!

I have attached updated pics of the FX pro in black on our new 2016 Tacoma Parts truck without the tire lube on the rims. Rims are 17 by 8 with a 0mm offset(4.5" back space). Truck in the picture is running a 35*12.50R17 BFG K02. We used a 3" suspension and 1" body lift to make this work. Doing the wheel alignment today and then its time to do some trimming to fit these big tires properly!

I also attached a before pic of the stock wheels and a side by side comparison of the TRD Pro and the FX pro

Kyle, Got a question for you. Im going to get those wheels for my stock 16 truck. What offset will work to keep it as close to stock as possible? Can you tell me a part number? For me searching the web and forum is confusing to say the least. Thanks, Nice looking ride!

I have replica trd trail team fj rims...(the silver ones powder coated black) and I wanted to know if I can just slap those on my 2016....?
The tires on those rims are slightly bigger( bfg at/ko 265.75/r16) than my stock OR tires....what should I expect aside from a loss in mpg?
Also, if the new set up doesn't have tpms, will that f%#K anything up in my new truck? (excuse my newbness)

Those pictures by Kyle are the REPLICA rims with TRD caps…a bit different. I was quoted at Cochrane Toyota $350/rim for the actual authentic TRD rim….I "think" $300/rim for the replicas…just my opinion…but I wasnt a fan of the rims posted above replicating the original TRD's

There blems for 200 each and not factory toyota. The rims in the pic look like they are pretty dinged up on the bead are or its a bad pic giving me that illusion. I think for a few bucks more i can get fuel beasts instead

Random question: Is there only one size of this particular TRD wheel (17x7)? Genuine only, no knockoffs.

Also, those FX rims are posted from Cochrane Toyota…good guys in the parts department, but over on the sales side…that's a whole different story!

I'm pretty certain that is just tire lube (for mounting) in the photo and not dings around the bead. I believe they took that photo right after mounting, and before cleaning up the wheels. When you mount tires (especially heavy, 35" tires with 10-ply sidewalls) you tend to use a lot of lubricant to keep from damaging the bead of the tire.

Fuel Beasts are a totally different looking wheel. No comparison to the 4Runner TRD Pro or FN Wheels FX Pro in my opinion. The look of the Fuel Beast vs. the other two wheels is radically different.

FYI for those wondering about the FX Pro (since I am affiliated with FN Wheels) - the FN Wheels FX Pro was built to satisfy a demand from Toyota owners (4Runner owners in particular, but this applies to all Toyota owners) for a 17x8" wheel, since Toyota only manufactures the 4Runner Pro in 17x7" (which is too narrow for most of us, and especially those of us who want to install 285/70R17 tires are larger). The wheel wasn't built to be a 1:1 replica of the TRD 4Runner Pro wheel, but an excellent substitute that we feel satisfies a very real need, and also with some subtle design and quality improvements that we found that we could make over the OEM wheel.

I am not in anyway bashing the OEM wheel, and I think it fits a very specific need for OEM type fitments. However, performance minded customers generally want a wheel wider than 7", and in that respect we fulfill a need with an extremely high quality wheel that is 8" wide and the proper offset and backspacing (0mm / 4.5") for most Toyota trucks.

Hello cvotrdsport. I hope my email I sent found you helpful. Just to share to others, I measured the factory Toyota wheels today and they are 16" by 7" wide with about 5" of backspace. I also measured a stock 17" TRD rim from a 2015 tacoma and it was 7" wide with about 5" of backspace The Authentic TRD Pro Toyota wheels are 17" by 7" wide with about 4" of backspace. The part# on these wheels are PTR20-35110-BK. The FX Pros I posted from FN Wheels are 17" by 8" with 4.5" of backspace. Both TRD Pro and FX pro are a more aggressive fitment and will push the wheel out more than most factory wheels and give the truck a wider stance.

Hello donny.broke. Thanks for your email today, you are correct the wheels I posted on our new Tacoma are a replica wheel inspired by the design of the TRD Pro wheel. The ones I have in stock Toyota are some of the factory blems that I'm selling at a discounted price. Please note the wheels look funny as we still have the tire lube left on the rims/tires, I will try to get better pics up soon. I'm very lucky to work with a company like FN Wheels as they are very proud of their product and he has great attention to detail. I personally had a hard time finding many defects on the blems that I have on the Tacoma right now are pretty awesome!

Sorry I answered this on my phone and could have explained it better. Now I have sat down at my computer to better help nwAdamR.

There is only one size for the Toyota Genuine TRD 4Runner Pro wheel, and yes it is a 17" by 7" rim. This size will definitely work perfectly with OEM tires. However, if you need something wider the FX Pro is a great solution for you. The FX Pro was developed with feedback from myself, other Toyota owners, and FN Wheels to find a solution for those of us who want (or need in the case of those of us who have installed 285mm or wider tires) an 8" wide wheel. We do not consider the FX Pro a knock off, as there are definitely some very specific differences between the two wheels.
