Just bought my first Tacoma, a 2015 double cab, long bed, in magnetic gray. I bought it out of necessity more than anything, after buying a fixer-upper house, but now that I have it I figured I'd make it into something more interesting, so that's how I ended up here.

After lurking here for a while, I've settled on the following plan (for now..?), which is mostly in order of how I want to go about it:
    • Roof rack
    • Bed topper
    • Suspension lift
    • Tires and Rims
    • Headers and exhaust
    • Brake upgrade
I primarily use the truck as a daily driver, and runs to the home improvement store and dump, but on the weekends I like to bounce around in West Virginia and Kentucky as part of my rock climbing and kayaking hobbies.

My main goals for the truck are, in order of priority:
    • Driveability: I've driven trucks that had the above list of mods in the past that were a serious pain in the ass to drive. Whether due to terrible suspension work or bad wheel offset choices, or both, I'd rather not have my truck drive like that.
    • Looks: I have a specific look in mind
    • Performance: While I don't intend to do any off-roading other than as described above, I would like the truck to perform well for the way I intend to use it.
For now my truck only has 2000 miles on it, so I'd like to take this process slow enough to not have any issues/arguments with potentially voiding my warranty. I'm not above doing some of the easier work myself, but when it comes right down to it, I'd rather pay to ensure any of the work above is done RIGHT.

Looking forward to getting this process started.
