Shift Indicator, automatic

when in shift mode and i shift a big number comes up on the lcd screen between the tac and spedo for about a second. i would like that to be on all the time. the manual says you can customize that screen but all i see is everything is default on and the only customizing you can do is un check each item, guess turning them off. am i missing something?

I messed around with the customization options and didn't see anything that would keep that screen up. You do know that it always shows the gear in the very bottom left corner of that same screen at all times, right?

 

yes.....i would just like the big indicator to stay on....thanks for checking.
