best rock sliders for 16 tacoma?

    New to TW and just looking for recommendations and opinions on rock sliders...i want it for strictly trail armor purpose and dont need them to step in my truck or to just look pretty. just want sturdy well machined products. thanks!

    Pelfreybuilt is working on '16 sliders right now. Hopefully they will be available online soon, but you could give them a call to check availability. Well built products from a reputable vendor that supports TW. BAMF (Bay Area Metal Fab) is another great vendor and they may actually have them available now.

    just so you know, the 05-15 bolt on sliders are different from the new 3rd gen. so if your looking for bolt on, make sure they already fitted it for the new trucks. BAMF one is good to go. thats my truck that he fitted them on. these sliders are legit and super beefy. would definitely recommend them to you.

    Thanks for the info!! Yeah those BAMF sliders are nice! and i like how they look better than the pelfreybuilts...thinking about going with some pelfreybuilt skids and BAMF sliders!

    that brings up a question...do you think skids and sliders would be/look overkill on my trd offroad with stock suspension? im kinda new to the game and probably not going to lift for a good while... but i get up on some really rough trails here in MT and want to protect my nuts! haha

    p.s. props on your truck!!! thing is a beast!!

    the bamf also angles up and a kick out option is available. if you go offroading a lot, might be better to get a lift to give you better clearance instead just protect down below.

    From a quick glance, no. What I have already looked at, there are very minor changes but nothing subastaintial that would create a cost increase.
