After I come to a complete stop for a few seconds I feel almost like a small push forward almost like someone bumped the back of the truck very lightly but the truck doesnt move it just jerks a bit. Its really weird its not violent but def noticeable. What could this be?

Is it the same feeling when you shift from park into drive? (assuming auto transmission)

It could be one a few things. One is what everyone calls axle wrap. When yiu brake the rear leaf springs begin to twist and stay in that position. When the pressure is released off the springs they give you that forward push feeling. A stronger rear leaf spring will prevent this.

Another could be the AC compressor kicking in which also gives a forward push.

The third issue could be the slide yoke binding up. Again, once pressure is released it pushes you forward.

Any suggestions on stiffening up the leaf springs?

I remember when I first bought mine I noticed when I braked there were times when it felt almost like the truck would accelerate some while braking. It continued to happen up until about 30k miles. I'm at 36k miles now.

I'm at 88 just turned and its after braking and being stopped a few seconds it almost feels like someone lightly rear ended you like at less then 5mph or someone is standing behind your truck giving it a subtle push and totally believe now its the axle wrap

Yeah it's most likely axle wrap. I have the same issue. You can always rebuild the packs if you don't want to purchase new ones.

Ok cool I'll have to look into it I have a wheel bearing on the way and need new tires so that will be my next project.
