allpro baja bumper with aftermarket skid

As the title state, what make it that no other skid would work with their baja bumper? Has anyone made it work? Does anyone have pictures of where the mount interfere with other skid beside allpro.

 

Marketing if you make both bumpers and skid plates .

It would be counter productive to design your products to be mixed with other companies products.

Without having to do some major fabrication to make things work.

Then remember these type of decisions are made very high in the corporate chain because people thought it would be a great idea.

Like wanting to put Chevy Heads on a Ford Engine .

 

love the allpro Baja but got skid from RAT Products. Guess I gotta call them and find out.

 

That is one of those things that can only be figured out looking at things under the truck .

I doubt any one unless they have the same parts as you can tell you step by step how to get it done.

maybe you will get lucky

 

If the RAT skid uses the stock mounting points than it won't work with the All pro bumper for the exact reasons that the stock skid doesn't work...
