I went last yr and had a blast. There is a pretty decent raffle at uncle toms. And if there is snow it will be awesome. Come on everyone help me represent TW and let's have more Toyotas there then Jeeps. We were out numbered last yr, let's take over.
We can set up a meeting spot in Sacramento and caravan from there.
    Chevron on 65th off of hwy 50 @ 0700am
If I don't see you there by 7:30, I will head out. I will drop my toy off at the jeepers jamboree office before 9am in Georgetown. And head to uncle toms cabin. I hope to see some more tacos this yr. Merry Christmas!

There's going to be a lot of snow this yr. I'm stoked. Can't wait. It was a lot of fun last yr.

Is there any details on the route taken? Sounds like thursday's storm is supposed to drop anywhere from 1-3ft of snow.

I have a 2.5" lift + 33" ATs and just want to make sure I won't be that guy getting stuck especially with the amount of snow thats supposed to drop.

It starts in gorgetown at the jeepers jamboree office. You drop off a toy if your going to caravan with the jeeps it starts there.
Me I just drop and go on to uncle toms. From there everyone breaks off in there own groups. I would like to go as far up as I can that's usually how I do snow runs. Go until I can't go no more. Then turn around.

You should be fine with 4wd 33" tires and airing down to 15-18 psi if you get stuck we pull you out if you can't make it farther then that's your stopping point. There will be lots of rigs so I wouldn't worry. As long as your not on bald tires.

my open country AT2s only have 3-4k on them so they've got plenty of life. I'll let you know what I decide but definitely tempting to go take the truck and play in the snow

There's a ton of stuff. From hats to that winch. The raffle took like two hrs last yr. Lots of prizes.lots of banter between Toyota guys and jeepers. Good fun around a big warm fire.

Sounds like a blast however I'm unable to go :(. It sucks that the majority of the most recent wheeling/camping/meet up trips land when I am busy/working.

I have a stock 96 4r with 265/70/16s Rugged Trails. Think I can manage this trip? I see the registration form suggests 33" tires.

How do you feel about wheeling in snow with your tires? Its up to you. If you feel good about it go . I will pull you out if you get stuck. But if you can't keep going you could park it and ride with me.or turn around and head home:confused:
