I'm going to wash and wax my new truck as soon as they relax water restrictions around here.

I think I'll go with Meguiars. What do you prefer, Meguiars liquid or paste wax?

I use Meguiar's Ultimate, which is a liquid. Great stuff!

if youre facing water restrictions, look into ONR and the 2 bucket wash method

Another good wax choice is Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. Doesn't last as long as the Meguiar's Ultimate because it is a carnauba-based wax vice a synthetic, but, like Ultimate, it can be put on in direct sunlight and has a killer shine. If you check out the CG site take a look at the 8 ounces of car wax that costs $1499!

I agree with above. ULW is awesome. If you use Turtle Wax Ice "Spray wax" after ULW and washes it'll shine like never before. I have not used Turtle products in years, as they seem to be lowest in quality. But the Ice Spray Wax gives an incredible shine and has amazing longevity for a wipe on wipe off product. Thoroughly impressed here. Biggest impact for 8 bucks and 5 minutes I've ever seen. And it doesn't take much.

FYI Megs ultimate liquid wax is actually a 100% synthetic polymer paint sealer. No cleaning capability. Old thread, I know, but just tossing it in there for the record.
