I just went to a tire shop and they wouldn't put them on, claiming they were too large. As far as I know these are the biggest I can go on stock suspension and shouldnt have any issues. Anyone have experience with this?

The place I got mine put on asked me about it. But they said they'd check the clearance with one mounted before they did the rest. Fortunately the manager on duty owns a Tacoma and he knew that the size would work with stock suspension. So they didn't waste time doing the check. Just tell them you've already checked and they will fit. Take your business elsewhere if they get bitchy.

Isn't that the stock tire size for the TRD OR? My taco has that tire size right next to the vin number

on my limited with the ivan stewart wheels, a 265/75/16 rubs even with a lift and required some trimming to the flare and flaps
