Just bought myself a 2012 trd Sport with a 3" pro comp lift.It has stock 18's with 275/70/18 cooper discoverer STT's.The tires are rubbing the upper a- arms on tight turns.Any suggestions on a tire size.I don't really want to put wheel spacers on.

    Too few to list.
Wheel spacers or different offset wheels. Welcome to the forum. I think the sports only came in 17" wheels but I do know 18's exist but probably on the limited.

Rims are oem.original tire size was 265/60/18.Now has 275/70/18's.I was hoping that going back to a 265 would eliminate the a-arm rubbing.Tires are very aggressive. That might be part of the problem.

Do you have aftermarket upper control arms? Not that it would help the rubbing, but at that height you definitely need them.

Aggressive tires should not be a problem if they are the right size.

I'm trying to avoid similar issues. Currently have stock 17" wheels, no lift, no spacers. Going to get Cooper Discoverer AT3 in 265/70/17. I'm told these fit with no rubbing and no mods required. I do want a wider stance. Thought of 1" spacers but hear they can cause problems, roughin road ride, etc. What wheel offset would be equivalent to 1" spacers??
Stock 17" wheels have offset of 35mm (1.37"). I apologize in advance, I'm a little ignorant to all this terminology and just learning about wheels, lifts, and tires. But some help would be great. Not offroading, mostly for looks. And want less damage to my wallet without screwing up my truck

Wheel spacers do not affect ride. Suspension spacers do. I think the sport offset is 30? Minus 25.4mm/in to get an offset of 5 to push them out 1". A few TRD wheels are in this similar offset like mine and the SEMA TRD wheels.

I ordered a set of 265/70/18 to try out.I'm hoping this will achieve my goal.No rubbing and a little better fuel economy.

Did your tires rub anywhere else? Like the cab mount? 265/70R17 is the largest that will fit with no rubbing, unless the PO already did the trimming required to fit the larger tires.
