    I'm with the sell it crowd. With that stellar of a down payment, car payments won't be too bad. It's great to be without them, but driving a nice car / truck / SUV is a pleasure that I don't mind spending a few dollars on. However, different people's priorities are going to be different!

    All based on you, brother, but I say I look forward to a pic of your new 4Runner!

    I'm for "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". That can be taken in two ways. Don't spend 5k on a higher mileage vehicle because it won't return in the resale. Also, is a car payment worth it to you? I enjoy new cars as well, but my family tends to drive them until the day they die. If you like the newer models and feel it's time to trade up, do it. If you're skeptical/not sure, wait it out. You'll appreciate a thought out decision over an impulse.

    Always always makes more financial sense to keep.
