98 Tacoma 4x4, 5 speed, 3.4 engine; Airbags? Fuel Mileage?

Hi I haven't been on Tacoma world for a few years now. I own a 91 Toyota Hilux 4x4, 4cyl, 22R engine, 5 speed with 300,000 kms. I am currently looking at a 98 Tacoma 4x4, 6 cyl, 3.4L, extended cab with 200,000 on it. I understand the truck has a drivers side airbag. Does it have frontal and passenger side airbags also? How does its airbag layout compare to the 2006- 2008 Tacoma ? Also how does its fuel mileage compare to the 4.0L engine in the 2006-2008 6 cyl Tacoma? I understand the newer 4.0L 6 cyl engine can get comparable fuel mileage to 91 4cyl 22R engine. 25 mpg Imperial? (21mpg US)
