Hi folks, like the title says, no brake light on 03 Taco. Checked fuses, all ok. I've had problems with the drivers side and center brake light due to bad wiring on the drivers side where the lights for the Leer shell were spliced in. Today, all brake lights not working (turn signals and running lights still work). Opened up the drivers side again and found one of the pins in the connector between the tail light assembly completely corroded off, so I'm going to start with replacing that assembly (p/n 81560-04060), which includes the entire light assembly (lens, sockets, gasket, and connector). I can't find the part number for the wiring harness that the tail lamp assembly plugs into, or preferably just the connector on the harness so I can splice a new connector in since I think it needs to be replaced too. Anyone know where I might find one? I guess I could get one out of a junked Taco if I can't buy a new one...

I got the entire pig tail off a 1998. I don't know if they are the same, though.

Is this common? This is the first thread I found that comes close to my problem, the passenger side rear brake light will not come on even after replacing the bulb, P/N 1157.
