Hey guys, so I have a 2005 TRD sport and it starts up fine. However, the SRS light is on and it wont let me shift out of park. I understand that sometimes there is a defect in the horn and airbag cable behind the steering wheel that can cause this, also it can be caused by a blown out fuse. I also know that you can override the shift lock by pressing the button next to the shifter. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced something like this or knows how to fix this without paying too much money? I am still not certain what the problem is so any information will be helpful

check if brake lights turn on when you pr as the brake pedal. If they don't then check for the switch behind the brake pedal.
