Hey everyone I'm new to the Form.
I just recently bought the Spyder Projector Chrome Headlamps for my 2011 Tacoma Sport from CARiD and not eBay. I wanted to improve the lighting on my truck. I'm a firm believer of only using OEM parts for many reasons. The thought of aftermarket lighting and especially headlamps I was 50/50 about. I read some of your guys posts on these headlamps and wanted to try it for myself. I'm a licensed tech for a Toyota Dealer so the install for me was easy and took me no more than an hour to R/R both lamps. At night where I had a good opportunity to see how these lamps preformed I could NOT be more disappointed with how crappy they are! Horrible cutline! even after adjusting the lamps many times the cut line was had a shaded horizontal line that at a distance that shaded cutline was like 2ft high with light above it. I have 2 other vehicles with Projection headlamps and no light is above the cut line at all! The projection lamps rattled and bounced no matter the road surface. I liked the finished look of my truck when the job was completed but I have to say stay away from these Lights. Total Sh#t as I am concerned. I am in the process of returning them.
