Hey guys I've got a 96 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, V6, 5 speed, extended cab and I recently acquired a cv axle leak. I brought the truck in to the shop to get my engine oil, front and rear dif oil, and transfer case fluid changed and ever since my passenger side cv axle has been leaking pretty badly. It leaked a little bit before, but not enough to leave any drop marks on my garage floor like it is now. Do you think they could have used the wrong kind of oil or do I just need to replace the axle seals? Or am I better off replacing the whole cv axle with new seals? The axle has about 30,000 miles on it. On a side note I did take my truck up in the snow the weekend before this and used 4x4 quite a bit. Any help or guidance would be great!
