The Ford fusion in front of me on my way to work tagged a full size doe yesterday. I'm not sure he was in the market for some meat though.

Makes me want to get a plate bumper.

I've been eyeing AllPro's black Friday sale. Gotta get me a front tube bumper and possibly IFS skid!

    In your super-duper-professional opinion:

Should I get an alignment before or after attaching a front bumper and winch? I am guessing it doesn't matter for shit, but thought I'd ask just to be safe.

It might make a difference depending on the weight of the bumper.

If it's super heavy it will pull the front down and change camber/toe specs

I am going to feel so stupid if as soon as I have my lift on I get a bumper and the weight of bumper and winch is enough that I need to get different coils!:pout:

You haven't installed anything yet so just email Toytec (or wherever you got them) and ask to swap the coils for the HD coils. They are the same price so it shouldn't matter to them, and your coils are still NIB.

I've been thinking about this... idk. I have to pull the trigger on the bumper first:anonymous:

I'm going to PM headstrong and see if they'll tickle me pink.

Well if you plan on a bumper at all then just do the HD coils now. Otherwise the light coils will be used and you can't swap them, and you will have to duplicate the work to take them off and install the HD coils.

Do I have to think of everything????

B-b-b-but do I go with the 882s or the 883s? 882s are the same spring rate as the 881s that I have in the box, but they are 20mm taller.. the 883s are heavier spring rate but same height as 881s with added weight. I'm leaning towards 882s because more springy better front droop when rock crawling..

Not always the case. If you want droop you need to account for the shaft length and stroke

If you know what I mean

I'm thinking I might be fine with 881s.. :notsure:

Only way to know is to put them on and add bumper+winch. By that time it's too late to exchange the springs...:homer:lol
