    You made someone ride in the back of your AC on a long trip? Torture. I have no problems holding 80 all day around here, with the exception of mountain passes. Then again mine is totally stock and I have 1 other passenger at most.

    People expect too much from these 2.7's, they aren't fast stock, add 750 pounds of crap and humans with bigger than stock tires and a lift and of course it is not going to be a great highway machine. Every one of those things hurts how it will drive on the highway. In my opinion if you want something to put armor on, lift, and put big tires on get the V6. Good news is that the resale on your current Tacoma is great!
