2016 Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab 4X4 Barcelona Red

my light switch control with the white icons ( off, DRL, and etc. do not illuminate ).. all my other vehicles did have some kind of lighting to see what was what at night. my question is, are they supposed to illuminate?
