Wow that is terrible. I have the TRD OR and my suspension is awesome both highway and little off roading ... close to 5000 miles already. Hope you get yours sorted out so you can enjoy it better.

OP i have a blue limited so I know how hard it is to come by, but I don't regret my decision at all, its exactly what I want. I don't know where you are located, but I would check cars.com and find the closest one to you, if there are some within a reasonable range (I tend to only believe they have it if there is a dealer picture), try that dealership. If you really want to use the dealer you have, for whatever reason, wait it out. Otherwise they are just a dealer, throw a dime and you will hit 12 others. I ended up going with a dealer that was 40 miles from me. consider it a chance to break in the truck. It drives entirely different (better)at ~1000 miles than it does at 13.

Another thing you could do is keep them ordering the blue and also have one ordered at another dealership and see which one wants your business more

    Good Luck

So much of that post is NOT true. You cannot get some of the limited options WITHOUT getting a Limited. If, that was the case, why would they offer different option packages?
It is the same suspension as the sport, so it is soft and definitely needs a little upgrading if you add any weight to the truck to keep it from "wallowing" as you put it. For someone driving it everyday as a stock truck, they would like the soft ride. Put 300-400 lbs in the back and it does get a little squirrely, but then again, if I was getting a highway queen, it sure wouldn't have been a Tacoma.

The answer to that would be a very resounding NO!

Tell them you'll take the white one until the blue one gets in. Then you'll take that.

    nothing cool
I can understand your problem OP. The color of the truck is something you have to live with and see all the time. Especially paying that kind of money. Get what you want. Good luck.

Respectfully, every word is true and I didn't expect a highway queen, I expected a truck. This is my 3rd Tacoma Limited (also owned 2 Tundra Limiteds) and none had this issue. 200 lbs of sand over the rear wheels actually helps damp the oscillations. I cannot imagine that anyone would want this ride. It's not soft, it's unstable, like a 76 caddy with original shocks and 300k miles. Regarding the options, you are clearly speaking from lack of research. I did the research and can duplicate the Limited options on a TRD OR by purchasing the additional FP and a couple of other pkgs then adding leather and 18" alloys. It costs a little more that way but the suspension is worth it. Okay, it won't have the little chrome plastic "LIMITED" stick-on by the door! You are also incorrect regarding it being the same suspension as the Sport. Go to the parts desk and compare part numbers; they are different for Sport, OR, Limited and SR. The point us, you can special order anything you want. My dealer even offered to order the Sport hood scoop on a TRD OR!
