    So, getting ready to convert my truck to 4wd.

    2002, V6, auto, 2wd.

    Also, I will be building the 4x4 system using manual parts from earlier tacomas. Not the ADD that came in this year truck.

    But, while I have everything ripped apart, and while I'm collecting all the parts, I'd like to go ahead and do a twin stick set up IF possible.

    I haven't been able to find much, if any, info regarding this.

    Typical concerns are, will the twin stick work with auto, or will I need to 5 speed swap?

    Can I use the stock T-case?

    And so on.

    If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated!

    For what it's worth I suggest using Add parts. Add have stronger hubs than CVs manual hubs break before the CV. One of my idiot friends tried 37s on his with manual hubs interestingly enough he blew the hub , cv, and his spider gears in one shot.

    @TIPICOTACO , thanks for the bump.

    As for twin stick OP, you can twin stick a tacoma chain case. FrontRangeOffroad fab makes a twin stick setup, all you have todo is split the case and do a little grinding on the shift forks.

    @ToyRyd04 I couldn't find your build.

    And thanks for the info guys. I've seen some twin sticks out there but they say "won't work with stock v6 chain driven t case"

    Gonna check low rang again!
