I have K02s on a jeep I built. They're good tires for sure, but not that aggressive looking. I wanted something that looked mean on my truck. I plan on doing a few wheeling trips this winter and into spring, so wanted some good mud traction, as well as snow traction. After researching the different options I posted in the beginning, I settled on the Cooper Discoverer STT Pros, and I'm pretty happy with them. They're rated for what I need them for, and they look super bad ass on the truck.

As far as fuel economy and longevity, I only need them to last about 30-35K miles and my fuel economy isn't going to be good to begin with. My truck is regeared to 4.88 and turning 35" tires. If I plan on driving above 55mph, my mpg's are probably going to be in the 12mpg range, if not worse. I'll probably run these for 20K miles and then go to 37" or 38" tire.

Really like them so far. True test will be December 5th and 6th. Going on a xmas tree run with a group of guys in this forum. Tires will have to go through mud, snow, and probably ice to get to where the trees are that we can chop down with permits. I'll update after the trip.

I was just looking at the pole at the top of the page and looks like most of you guys are choosing the BF Goodrich All Terrains or the Cooper STT Pro's.

I really like my Coopers so far and will update once I take my truck out on its first wheeling trip next weekend. :D
