What's the benefit of this over an air compressor? Maybe I'm just not thinking of it the correct way...anyone explain? Is it just the fact it's a little bit cheaper...but not much. The fact it's quick and easy or it's portable?? Open for suggestions...

There are a few bonuses. It's quicker, portable, removable., and there are fewer working parts. The air compressor, if mounted in the truck, can be used for lockers as well. If it's the portable version, you have to plug it in, it can take forever to fill the tires, if it gets hot you have to wait for it to cool down.

 

only thing i dont understand and thus dont like so far about this solution is the need to do refills at compressed air vendors like a restaurant i guess or something similar? Whats the process like for people who have these? Where do you refill them and if its at some sort of business, do you literally just walk in and ask if you pay them a couple bucks? - seems kinda strange, not that i wouldnt do it...
