It would get pretty glitchy if you pushed the limit I would think eventually, especially on Xbox. Both systems have some trouble with dealing with an over abundance of objects in the field of view.

It's funny that this guy hasn't figured it out that on the consoles this could cause issues once a certain local saturation is reached.

I played on normal difficulty. I honestly kept thinking it was going to get harder and if anything...it got easier. I saved a lot of stuff thinking i would need it in the end. I never used a missile launcher or mini nuke cause i was saving them for the end.

I might go back and play through again on a higher difficulty. Theres a key point in the main story that changes the ending and might be fun to play the other ones.

Im not much of a completetionist so im not going to find all the bobbleheads/magazines/ect. I might finish up some of the side quests and thenw ait for mods/dlc to come out.

Yea i think changing up the difficulty helps to add some fun back into. Granted i still havent felt the need to pull out the fatman or minigun in a situation yet but it is still difficult. I died the other night 3 times fast traveling to the same point and trying to wipe out a group of super mutants.

I sometimes want to go higher than just hard but dont want it to be impossible quite yet. Im not that good, lol.

I have 2 playthroughs. One of them I'm a sneaky sniper and one I'm a beast that never exits power armor. I keep only full auto and explosives. Really fun but you gotta find a lot of fusion cores.
Enter workshop mode, scrap all the barrels in the water and around it, then scrap the car that isn't rusted. Then no more rads.

Yep! At the drive in right?

A lot of people remove the barrels but forget the car. The reason it has t rusted is because it is radioactive.

I spend 99% of my time in the field in sneak mode. As such, with the Freedom Trail pistol and a suppressed .50 Sniper rifle, I rarely get into close combat that isn't "VATS crit cinema"

Seeing them before they see you changes *everything*.

Sneak perks are, frankly, overpowered right now

If this title is like the priors, so long as you didn't get any neg hits (i.e. shoot them, kill any, etc) you might be OK

I haven't heard if aggro is different in FO4 as of yet

Personally, I quicksave before EVERY lockpick and hack attempt on reflex for exactly this reason, regardless of need.

Lol I shot a guy in the face, he looked at me, then walked away and said "must have been the wind."

    Sneak is unreal.

Yup. I don't even have the perks and, now that I have a couple of weapons putting out over 180 dmg with common ammo, it's easy to one shot most common enemies. I picked off Liberia (I think that's what it's called) without a single shot fired at me. Even the mini nuke lobbing SOB was easy to pick off.

Really? All open world fallouts I've never done that, as long as you're out of sight while picking or hacking no ones gonna care. And if you're in an area that you shouldn't be typically npcs will stare you down for a short while until you're out of the area, that or they'll become hostile.

I found an Institute laser rifle tonight , so far my best weapon

I found the radioactive barrels in the pond at Starlight Theatre and scrapped them , not sure how I missed them before but that allowed me to store the fence I had built around the pond and I added a 5th water purifier and no Rads there now

I have 16 settlers there now and 12 at Sanctuary plus a half dozen each in about 8 other settlements

This is how I play as well, plus tack on the rifleman and better criticals perks and it's way easy, even in survival mode.

Terminals might lock you out and, if you're having a bad day, sometimes you end up using more bobby pins on a lock than you want to. Saving let's you go back and undo the damage easy peasy.

That's why you back out of the terminal before you use your last guess and I can't fathom how easy lock picking is. Haha maybe it's just me.

I'm pretty sure terminals in FO4 unlock after 10 or 20 seconds. I know if you have Nick Valentine, that time is cut in half. And yes, I agree, lockpicking got is really easy.
