    Dean,
Any compatibility issues using an All Pro IFS with a Pelfreybilt bumper? How does everything line up? I know Pelfrey skids are a tad wider than AllPro's.

I assume you are talking about the All-Pro skid plate but no, no issues mixing the two. They line up to each other very well.

Might be a dumb question but I watched your 488/rpm video was that gps verified? I thought 488/35 would put the revs up higher

Yea that is GPS verified on an iPad (w/cell), a handheld GPS (GPS 62stc) and my phone. Yep, pretty dead on. Now, MTR's run a little smaller than a true 35" and I think when I made that video, they had 20,000 miles on them so even a little bit smaller.

Well crap, cause another members truck on 456/35s was running 2200 at 70(gps). Wouldn't a worn tire run a higher rpm because of the smaller diameter?

lol, well about 20mins ago I was very much set on 456 because I don't want the revs too high on the highway at 75ish. But now I don't know what to think hahah

Get 4.88s. I got them a couple months back and am glad I got them instead of 4.56

The general census seems to be 4.56 for manual and 4.88 for auto when running 35's.

Mpg will be less with the 4.88s but having that power back is worth the tradeoff

I don't have anything against 488 but I drive much, much more than the average person. So I'm looking to get my gears back to stockfish ratio, not lower. I don't really notice a power loss, so its really not about that for me. I just want bring it back to factory, maybe squeeze a little more mpg, and use my cruise control.

But my research brings me to 456 is the closest to factory gearing and 488 is lower

I have 4.56's with 33's and my truck feels slightly over geared at 70mph running at 2500 rpms. I plan to go to 35's soon and I think the 4.56's with 35's will feel perfect for daily driving.

Yea, 4.56 sounds like it would work well with 35's. Should have 37's mounted by summer.

I dunno, maybe. We will see how the 37's work out. In the process of buying a house so we will see.
