Did a little off roading at Kualoa Ranch last night after work. I wish I could've spent more time exploring.

that safety is at least 4-5 years expired. I moved back in 2011 and I think it was yellow, blue, red, then the new style.

Who the guy??? Kinda interesting to build it up fast, then try to sell.... upside-down?? Does he often build for the fun of it, then try to sell it?? Nice truck, but I really wonder if he'll get that price..

another case of the "I spent $35k on the truck and $10k on upgrades but now the dealer says it's worth $30k" justification. I would like to see an attempt at that tire being stuffed. I dunno what's worse, this, or the 9" lift with 31" tires. whatever floats your boat I guess? lol

 

In Hilo all you have to do is install lift, drive down to safety check station with stock tires on, they inspect and take pictures, slap a nice safety sticker on. Then you drive home and install your rediculous rim and tire combo.

The bad part is that tickets are at the discretion of the cop pulling you over. Pretty much the same rules as recon except the cop will usually write a ticket forevery rule you broke.

 

meh, depends….ive got a load of no mud flap/wide tire tickets. Sometimes, if you be nice, they will just give you a ticket for one thing, other times they'll just x4…or like my tint ticket, 6 windows. fck.

junk thing…with them taking pics, the ticket holds up. im over giving money to the government.

I like running swampers. It quiets down my leaf spring & bushing creaks.

 

^ this. friend's friend got pulled over cause his left tail light was out. limped home with tint, headlights, mudflaps, oversized tires and improper lane change infractions.

 

I got pulled over for tint with my old car, got charged for 5 windows. When i went to pay fir the ticket the lady told me their not allowed to sight u for mutiple windows. So she threw out the 5 windows an only put down 1 window. Saved my ass on that ticket.

 

if your in the wahiawa/north shore area make sure you have on your rear mudflaps and fender flares. the new LT has been driving around citing/revoking recon stickers for guys who remove the extended fender flares or mud flaps with tires polking out past the fender well. if you see a black older model car driving around that would be him. ley your friends know.
