First thing I looked at when I bought my 15 dcsb sport was what brand of tire was on it. I've never owned Firestones but so far i'm very pleased. I got 40k max out of past sets of Dunlop's and they all sucked in the wet. Wrangler at's weren't all that much better, same wear characteristics.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Couldn't wait to get rid of my Dunlops. They were the worst tire I have ever had on a truck. We changed them out at 26000 miles and they still had meat on them, but honestly, not worth keeping. Now my truck drives the way I like it to.

So it seems like the general consensus is around 25-40k. I do roughly 8k miles a year. That give me 3 years to save if I want to upgrade the tires on the earlier side, PLENTY of time... Thanks everyone!

I have 60k on mine right now and have never had a problem. I live in MA and the tires have been fine in all conditions. I figure another 5-10k and they will be replaced with Mich LTX MS2's.

I put 65K on mine over 3 1/2 years. More then legal tread left but changed then due to age. Personally I found them as a more then adequate street tire with the exception of moderate snow. Tires are always kept properly aired, rotated every other oil change and never off pavement. I'll stay with my Firestone Destinations if ever given the choice.

I'm about to hit 10k on mine, and I'm swapping them out Next week for some BFG Ko2's...
The accidental burnouts and drifting corners can be fun, but these Dunlop are horrible with the wet, which is annoying since I live in Western WA haha.
70% tread on the rears and 80% front. Did rotation at 5k. Mostly streets, and light off road forest service roads

I've been thinking the same as well. I've had mine a little over 1 year and have 20K on them. They still look close to new but I haven't measured the treads yet. I hate the way they drive, especially cornering, though they have surprised me off pavement. But I am thinking, if I get a decent bonus this year I may replace them before they wear out.

I never made it far without ditching stock

if they start as Michelin, they stay. otherwise as soon as budget allows they come off

It was bitter sweet - the day I got the truck I got new tires. Tire kid torqued all my lugs to 130ft pounds(factory spec is 85 ish) Snapping off the keyed one.

I demanded they replace all of them.

    One hour turned into four.

I've got about 31,000 miles on mine. Still have about 7/32 tread all around. Rotate every 5,000 miles. I'll keep mine a while longer just to delay the expense of new tires. I will replace with Michelin when the time is right. I've not had any issues with the tires. Not great in snow, but I haven't gotten stuck yet. No cupping and they have kept balanced. I've had worse tires.

36k and mine are showing significant wear, and I definitely do not drive like a senior citizen. :burnrubber:

I'll probably replace them as soon as I decide what tires I want. I'm having a hard time choosing between Hankook Dynapros, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Duratracs, or Cooper Discoverers and maybe even BF Goodrich KO2's. :goingcrazy:

Well mine only had 8,000 miles on them when I pulled them off, so I've got a very slightly "used" set of super tires with 72,000 miles left on them just begging to be adopted!

I had two flat tires in the first 8000 km (5000 miles) and those were the first two flats Ive honestly ever had in my life. I've written Dunlop off altogether for trucks and gone with something more substantial. Rumor has it they last about 40k miles of pavement before they're unusable squirrely. Sorry OP for being "THAT GUY" that you didn't want to hear from haha

At 31 k, about half worn out. Probably get rid of them at 45k. Ok street tire. OffRoad, you're on you own.

At around 25k, still had meat but wanted a better truck tire. Ran through two sets of dueler revo but those had crappy life. Now running Firestone destination AT. Trucks eleven years old and I've on my third set of tires.
