    Had it out and watched air intake temp on the UG for a few days this summer. Put it back in and watched air temps. It was always a few (<5) cooler with it in and running down the highway. It stayed in. Not sure it matters that much. Cooler must be better, right?

    Does someone have a diagram for where you pulled power for your gauges? Dimming with lights? I'm over on Cravenspeed looking at the steering column gauge pod. Need to finally get gauges. I still like the idea of the drivers post mount, but you guys have convinced me quality is poor.

    I used the pillar pod from Lotek, I just think it looks cooler. On that, you do have make the holes a tad bigger (demmel) no biggy at all. The problem I had was with the pod mount in my hand, I matched the handle to it to see where I had the trim. What I should've done was snap the mount in place then match the handle to it to see where I had to trim. So that being said....I trimmed a little too much and you can see where I screwed it up....I will be ordering a new one.
    For my mechanical boost gauge, I ran the power wire through the firewall with the boost hose. Boost hose went to the s/c obviously. The power wire went to the left front headlight fuse with a add-a-fuse fusetap. Fast , simple, no wire crimping. If you do that, the fuses under the hood are low profile mini fuses. For the ground wire , I ran it down the pillar. Removed the door sil and the plastic by the left foot (easy) there is a bolt I unscrewed and used to connect the ground.

    No, I'm just running the boost gauge. On the hole a bought a cap that lotek sells to plug the hole. It's like $3.99. If I did the whole smaller pulley/bigger fuel pump thing I would but since I'm not I don't see the point. Honestly no point in the boost either other that it does look cool and I guess it's nice to see how much boost your getting when pushing it.

    that's odd..... U threw on what, a $4000 part and don't care if its working properly? Also don't care if the truck leans out for any reason? Don't wanna see any possible vac leak warnings?
    They are not just for bragging but can also help diagnose problems.

    Just throw some electrical tape over the check engine light cuz its just for show.
